Margaret L. (Ruff) Henrich, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Overlook Hospital. Born in Jersey City, she moved to Cranford in 1957.
Friends are invited to visit 6-8 PM Sunday at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford. Memorial Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, August 7, at the Calvary Tabernacle, 69 Myrtle St, Cranford.
Mrs. Henrich worked for the shipbuilders, Gibbs and Cox in New York City during World War II.
She was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle and she and her husband had been volunteers for Contact We Care.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, her son-in-law Bob Scarano, and a granddaughter, Melanie Schmitt.
Surviving are, 7 devoted daughters, Erica Folk, Jane Henrich, Anne Scarano, Mary Durham (Larry), Alice Henrich, Claire Henrich, and Lorraine Henrich (Bill Fricke); 2 loving grandchildren, Nada Griffith and Jacob Durham; and 4 beloved great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Calvary Tabernacle or to the charity of your choice.
