Obituaries

Violet Ditta, 85, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at home. Raised in East Orange, she moved to Cranford in 1979.
Friends are invited to visit 10 AM – 12 PM Wednesday at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford. Services at 12 PM Wednesday.
A legal secretary, she was also a writer published in Highlights magazine, and babysat for many children. Mrs. Ditta was active on the public relations committee at the Edward Gill Apartments in Cranford, and in the reading program at the Roselle Park Library.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore in 1992.
Surviving is, her son, Richard.
